Gender Equality Decent Work and Economic Growth Reduced Inequalities

The Canadian Center for Women’s Empowerment has various programs, workshops, and events to address economic abuse. The program is also the first Canadian platform to address economic justice to raise awareness about economic abuse, so that that the more people know what it is, the more we can help prevent it. It has helped numerous women during the pandemic in Ontario, and not only does it provide women with assistance and resources (for example, protection or education in financial trauma) but it also supports them throughout their experiences (for example, they host webinars on financial literacy, self-care, economic empowerment, and wellness support group for survivors of economic abuse for visible minorities).
