Responding to the immediate needs of Nova Scotians to adapt and recover from COVID-19 impacts, Develop Nova Scotia – an organization that invests in infrastructure, properties and programs to build strategic economic growth in Nova Scotia – mobilized their partners from communities to internet providers to utilize a $15M investment in a rural internet initiative. Realizing that delivering internet for Nova Scotians is a priority, the project is expediting the installation of 16 towers in 100 days, providing access to 18,000 homes/businesses, even 6 months sooner.
