NeedsList, a Toronto-based tech startup, has been partnering with local, regional and global organizations to support a more sustainable and efficient model of crisis response. Local organizations, including Feed it Forward and Scadding Court Community Centre received over $25,000 value of in-kind donations from IKEA through the NeedsList software. Further afield, NeedsList is partnering with a global health network nonprofit, the CORE Group, to get COVID-19 information resources and vitally needed PPEs to communities in Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria. Their software provides solutions for community resilience, and strives towards more sustainable humanitarian action.
