Good Health and Well-being

The Community Resilience Project supports people living in underserved communities by making parks feel more safe and accessible. Thanks to Park People, the organization was able to hire park ambassadors to ensure this. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Park People deployed 5 park ambassadors to Toronto, which is considered a high-density city where social distancing is difficult. Creating parks to be accessible during this time can help alleviate mental health issues and overall good health and well-being.
