Zero Hunger Sustainable Cities and Communities

The SEED (a not-for-profit food project at the Guelph Community Health Centre established in 2015) moved quickly when the pandemic hit, recruiting over 100 volunteers in order to provide nutritious fresh food hampers delivered directly to community members. This project reached out to community partners, local restaurants (who’s staff were currently not working), utilized kitchen across Guelph, and recruited volunteers to help cook, pack and deliver – creating an inclusive focus on food security and community building.
