SolShare’s Community Owned Energy Project

Solshare Energy is a cooperative-controlled corporation and is a project of Vancouver Renewable Energy Co-operative with the goal of growing community-based renewable electricity generation in BC. This is done by engaging residents and investors in projects that offer financial, social, and environmental returns. It also provides living wage jobs where the workers are also owners of the business, with the intention and future plans of expanding to remote Indigenous groups.
